Wonderful

Got upgraded to a big room again. Friendly helpful staff. Comfy big bed, separate lounge area, 2 TV's, in bath shower, tea & coffee topped up on 2nd day. Cafe in foyer with freshly made sandwiches and cakes etc. Pool & restaurants with bar and free pool table in upper floors. Free drinks vouchers for ladies on certain nights with live music.

The drink prices are excessive even for water. Hard to deal with the heat outside but not needed to be in it for longer than necessary. About a kilometer walk to the waterfront weaving around high-rise buildings and a bit disappointed when arrived. Nothing to do with the hotel.

love it but....

location, as usual. fabulous staff. Great beds and bedding. late checkout such a blessing.

this time found toe nails on the carpet. gad to ask for towels. no towel for the floor, could not find a toilet cleaning brush. ran out of toilet paper during the night because the rolls are small. stayed in 912. it was strange because I patronised the hotel before and could find no complaints. that being said, I will come back!!!!

extremely cold everywhere, they forget to give us slippers and the floor in the bathroom was very cold. The bathroom needs an upgrade. At night can Be very noisy from the club if you are staying upper than 8 th floor.

Recommended place to stay

Receptionist especially Joanna was exceptional and helpful and kind. I also was grateful for room upgrade and the spacious room. towels are huge clean and really fluffy. Cleaner for 7th floor is really great. Jaya the porter was also great. Next to medinat mall which is convenient. I like that they allow people to check out by 12 noon and not unfair time of 10 or 11am. Highly recommended place to stay.

The people were all very nice; including the 2 nice Indian chef. Only I hope the chef cooking egg will Not use bare hands to handle the cooked eggs to on buns or on plate. And when I asked for water just before check out receptionist did not reply me as she might have thought should not get water on check out.

The environment-friendly notes in the washrooms and rooms...this shows the Hotel is bothered about the fast pace deteriorating environmental conditions... did not find this in any of the places I stayed till now...!!!

Brilliant!!!

I had requested for a double bed and non smoking room. But because the booking was past their cut off time, it didn’t appear in the system. The duty manager Arup was a lovely man who accommodated me with a bonus of a late checkout as mine was an emergency situation. Would definitely recommend the hotel. Clean rooms and facilities and helpful staff.

Use fresh ingredients for food rather than tinned goods. :)

Comfortable place to stay

I have alsways liked to stay at this property . It is near all conveniences and the ambience inside the room as well as the hotel lobby and corridors are very good. The beds were large (I had a twin bed room where my son who also works here came to stay with me for the 2 days)

The bathroom did not have a bidet spout (Hygeine shower) . The level of lighting in the room is very low.

The location is perfect

The location is perfect The rooms are nice and the view is wonderful.

This was actually one of my favorite hotels! I loved staying here and Arju always gives me a nice room! However this time my stay was not as pleasant. Valet wrecked my car and I was told there wasn’t anything they can do about it. They said they looked at the camera and didn’t see where the valet hit anything! My concern is that can’t be true. I wasn’t able to see the video. I took my car that day to a dr appointment and when I dropped it off I inspected it. I always do before I allow them to park my NEW car. Manager Sherit was not apologetic at all they didn’t even offer to repair half the cost. It’s very unfortunate because I actually LOVE this hotel.

Room was as usual comfortable & clean.

Now you cannot drive the car to parking yourself valet is compulsory. they should allow customers to park at ease & stuff at their convenience. Valet should be optional.

The Hotel staff was not friendly.

The Hotel staff was not friendly. When we arrived at the reception nobody was there to welcome or carry our luggage. Rooms are big enough, but lighting is not good. It's very dark in the room. There was no iron box even though it's mentioned in the amenities. No good options for breakfast. Restaurant staff is not at all friendly. This hotel is not a 4* I can say it's either 2 or 1 * I would not recommend this hotel. By seeing 4* and 9+ ratings we booked this hotel. I think all paid reviews to get good ratings.

Rude staff, there was an accidental double booking through booking.com but they did not refund the cancellation fee which was hiked up as well. Hotel is not of 4 star standard. I would rate it as a 2 star standard at max. Would recommend staying in an apartment instead of this hotel if short on budget
